constellation | the path of an object as it revolves around another. |
geocentric theory | a model of the universe in which Earth is at the center of the revolving planets and stars. |
Heliocentric theory | The study of moon,stars,and other objects in space. |
comet | a loose collection of ice,dust,and small rocky particles with a long ,narrow orbit of sun. |
gravity | the force that pulls objects toward each other. |
solar system | referred to the sun,its planets ,and all other objects in orbit around the sun. |

meteor | a streak light in the sky produced by the burning of a meteoroid in Earth's atmosphere is not a "shooting star." |
telescope | a device built to observe distant objects by making them appear closer. |
