Dialogue | what is being spoken |
Duplicate | exactly like something else |
Fantasy | a genre that has magical elements |
Introduction | the beginning of the story, where we learn the characters and the problem |
Line Break | empty space between lines of poetry |
Narrator | a person who narrates something, especially a character who recounts the events of a novel or narrative system |
Poetry | a type of literature that can have stanzas, line breaks, meter/rhythm, and/or rhyme |
Realistic Fiction | a story that is fiction, but it could really happen |
Resolution | how the story ended, tied up |
Stanza | groups of lines in poetry, like a paragraph |
Slicker | a raincoat made of smooth material |
Timid | showing a lack of courage or confidence; easily frightened |
