Order of Operations Parenthesis, Exponents, Multiply and Divide from left to right, Add and Subtract from left to right
Unit Price Price ÷ Size
Area of Rectangle A = lw
Area of Parallelogram A = bh
Area of Triangle A = ½bh
Area of Trapezoid A = ½h(b + b)
Area of Circle A = π times radius squared
Circumference of Circle C = πd
Volume of Rectangular Prism V = lwh
Diameter line that goes all the way across the circle passing through the center
Radius line that goes half way across the circle from the outside edge to the center
Mean Average - Add up all numbers and divide by how many numbers there are
Median Middle Number(s) - List numbers least to greatest. Find middle number. If two are in the middle, add them together and divide by 2
Mode Number repeated the most
Range Maximum - Minimum
Lower Extreme Minimum
Upper Extreme Maximum
Lower Quartile Median of the lower half of numbers
Upper Quartile Median of the upper half of numbers
Outlier Number that is much greater or much less than the other numbers in the list. It makes the mean not accurate.
Interquartile Range Upper Quartile - Lower Quartile
Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD) The average of how much each number varies (or is different) from the mean.
