Narrative Nonfiction/Biographies

| Narrative Non-fiction | is a genre of writing that uses literary styles and techniques to create factually accurate narratives. |
| Credible Source | a source that is hard to discount; a person or resource that can be trusted to provide valid information. |
| Text Features | the elements of a text designed to help locate, understand, and organize information. |
| Multimedia | a variety of artistic and communicative media. |
| Annotated Bibliography | a list of sources used along with a summary of each source's content, purpose, and evaluation of validity. |
| Citation | giving credit to the authors of source information. |
| Chronological Order | the organization of writing based on time from beginning to end. |
| Primary Source | an original document containing first-hand information about a subject. |
| Secondary Source | a discussion about or commentary on a primary source; the key feature of a secondary source is that it offers an interpretation of information gathered from primary sources. |
