Aqueduct | A water system that brings clean water into the city, and dirty water out of the city. |

Renaissance | Rebirth of Greek and Roman ideas. |
Democracy | Ruling of the people. |
Autocracy | The ruling of one person. |
City- State | A city that has enough power to be a country. (Athens) (Sparta) |
Oligarchy | Ruled by a few, often military. |
Treason | Going against the government. |
Republic | Don't vote on every single issue. They vote on someone who then makes decisions about things, such as streetlights so that we do not have to vote on it. |
