G - Test Study Matiere part 1

TermDefinition
Matiere Tout ce qui à une masse et occupe de l'espace.
Les trois états de la matière sont Solide, Liquide et Gaz
Solide La forme et le volume sont fixé. Un solide est rigide.
Gaz Ils prennent la forme du contenant mais non pas de forme spécifique, et non pas un volume fixe. Ils vont partout dans le contenant.
Liquide Ils prennent la forme du contenant et ont un volume fixe.
Les propriétés de la matière: Aident à décrire les objets.
La solubilité Lorsqu'un solide est dissout dans un liquide comme un café avec sucre.
Malléablilité La matière peut être plier en formes différentes.
Nomme deux solutions que tu connais: Café sucré, Gatorade, l'eau salée, Poweraid, Kool-aid
Donne deux exemples de changements physiques Couper les cheveux, déchirer du papier, couper une carotte, fondre un glaçon, bouillir de l'eau. (Doesn't change into another substance - just changes its shape or appearance! )
Deux exemples de changement chimiques Bicarbonate de soude et vinaigre, levure et sucre dans l'eau, le métal qui rouillit (rust) , digestion de nourriture, ( chemical changes MAKE new things with new properties)
Un exemple d'un changement réversible ( changement physiques) L'eau forme la glace mais peut fondre encore. Le sucre dissout dans l'eau mais si on laisse l'eau évaporé le sucre est là encore.
Un exemple d'un changement IRRÉVERSIBLE ( changement chimique) Cuire des muffins, la rouille ( rust) (new substances - can't change back). Un feu ou explosion
Un changement physique Change la forme de l'objet.
Un changement chimique Change des substances en autres substances.
