What do happens to hydrogen and helium when temperature and pressure are increased? Hydrogen and Helium fuse causing nuclear fusion and a star is born

What is the name of region about 200,000 kim think where gasses circulate? Connective Zone
What is the name of the dense region that is about 300,000 km thick? Radiative zone
What is the name for the center of the sun? Core
What layer does the sun produce it's energy? Core
How long has the sun been shining? 4.6 billion years
What is nuclear fusion? When nuclei of atoms form larger nucleus to release energy
What does the sun get energy from? Nuclear fusion
How long does it take the energy made at the sun's core to reach the surface? Millions of years
What is a sunspot? a cool, dark spot on the sun
How long does a sunspot cycle last? 11 years
What is a solar flare? A region of high temperature and brightness on the sun. It sends electricity into the solar system
What is a rotation? the spin on an axis
What is a orbit? The path a planet follows around another body in space
What is a revolution? A complete trip around an orbit.
How long does it take the Earth to complete an orbit? 365.25 days
The sun moves in an elongated circle called a? an ellipse
