Types of dances

Tango The tango (possibly from Latin tangere, meaning "touch") is a partner dance that originated in the 1890s along the Río de la Plata, the natural border between Uruguay and Argentina, and soon spread to the rest of the world
Waltz The waltz is a smooth, progressive ballroom and folk dance, normally in About this sound triple time, performed primarily in closed position.
Salsa Salsa is a popular form of social dance that originated in New York with strong influences from Latin America, particularly Cuba and Puerto Rico.
Samba Samba is a Brazilian musical genre and dance style originating in Bahia, Brazil, and with its roots Africa via the West African slave trade and African religious traditions, particularly Angola and the Congo.
Rumba Rumba is a family of percussive rhythms, song and ballroom dance that originated in Cuba as a combination of various musical traditions.
