Gulf Stream The largest and most powerful surface current in North America
Coriolis Effect Moving right in the northern hemisphere and left in the southern hemisphere
Salinity The amount of salt in the water
Upwelling When water from the deep brings up nutrients to the surface
Recycle When the water cycle reuses the water on Earth
Water Vapor Occurs when water in lakes and oceans is heated by the sun and turns into a gas called water vapor
Current A large moving stream of hot or cold water moving through the oceans
