Rhyme Effect = memorable adds humour, ties together middle/end of verses. Empathasises certain words for effect.
Tone Sarcastic, angry, excited, depressed, dull.
Extended Metaphor Involves whole sections, depends understanding, shows intelligence.
Enjabment Controls how poem is read
Personal Pronouns Directly forces readers to be engaged
Repetition Used for emphasis to draw attention, shows us this is important
Rhetoric Question Get readers attention makes them think/ second guess or consider a new idea.
