Plot The series of related events that make up a story
Character A person or animal who takes part in the action of a story, play or literary work
Conflict A struggle or clash betwen opposing forces or characters
Theme The truth about life or life lesson shown(NOT TOLD) in a story or other work
Setting The time and place in witch the events take place
Static Character A character who stays the same throughout the story
Dynamic Character A character who changes in behavior during the story
Conflict A struggle against an obstacle or opposing force
External Conflict A struggle between the protagonist and something eles
Person vs. Person A conflict between two characters
Person vs. Nature A conflict between a character and a force of nature (Health, Weather, temperature, ect.)
Person vs. Supernatural A conflict between a character and a force beyond human ability (Monsters, Aliens, Witches, ect.)
Person vs. Society A conflict when a character breaks a rule, law, code, ect.
Person vs. Machine A conflict between a character and technology (Robots, Computers, ect.)
Internal Conflict (Person vs. Self) A conflict when a character must choose one thing or an other
Characterization The process of revealing a characters personality
Direct Characterization When the author tells the character's personality directly
