Income and Expense Statement Vocabulary List

Wages or Salary before deductions The amount of money you make without anything taken out
commissions A service charge assessed by a broker or investment advisor in return for providing investment advice and/or handling the purchase or sale of a security.

bonuses money added to your salary
tax refunds money given back from taxes
interest earned money gained off of interest
investment earnings money gained off of investments
sales of assets selling any assets for money
money from savings the money that is in your savings account doesn't usually have direct or easy access

scholarships/ grants from non government sources money given from non government sources for a scholarship and not for something else
