Performance Mastery is a defined process for aligning an individual's goals with the agency's mission
and for continually improving individual performance
This system will show employees exactly what outcomes/behaviors are expected of them at all times and considered to be unacceptable and marginal
Each responsibility will be clearly defined as well as provide a clear understanding of what each
and what an employee would need to do to perform at mastery level
This system will be used as a two-way communication tool between both supervisor and employee
Employees will receive ongoing performance feedback to enable them to develop and improve
The Performance Mastery System is based on the following principles To create and reinforce a climate within JSO where there is a greater likelihood for the mutual success of both the employee and JSO
Employees will know what is expected of them at all times
The process is two-way communication between the employee and their supervisor
