closing the last DPS that give closure to yearbook, year, and themes

gutter the area in center of spread where the pages go into the binding; photos can cross gutter, but not typography
coverage the stories of the year told through complete, balance, relevant, and dynamic verbal and visual content

division page pages that divide the sections of the yearbook and are similar in appearance(key area for developing the theme)

people mug shots and some other special coverage like interviews
sports and organization sports and club pages
ads ads, index, dedication, YB page and editor page
chronological coverage by week or weeks in a month or season
infograph an informational graphic that displays statistical info in a visual way for quick reading
interview a one-on-one question and answer session with a person closely associated with an event or activity
eyeline used to unify spread; above or below the center mark to give movement to reader's eye
COB Photos cut-out background photo using photoshop
colophon a reader service that list printing specifications, awards, press association members, and specifics about the book's font and style.
dominant photo largest and best photo on the page
alternative copy info presented in small bites so it's quicker to consume and easier to understand. (ex. Q&A, By the Numbers, and How To.)
