beer alcoholic beverage produced by fermentation of malted barley and hops. [Sp. cerveza]

apéritif drink served before a meal, differing from a cocktail as it is fairly mild and often bitter [FRENCH][Sp. aperitivo]
bitters aperitifs made from distilled spirits flavoured with roots, herbs and barks
brandy spirit distilled from wine; a variety of fruit liqueurs distilled from fruit juice
champagne sparkling wine produced within the boundaries of the ancient region of Champagne [FRENCH]
cocktail short or long alcoholic drink with a variety of ingredients, well-mixed so that no one flavour predominates; cold hors d’œuvre containing a number of ingredients
cognac fine brandy made from grapes of a specific region of France [FRENCH]
gin colourless spirit distilled from rye, barley or maize, flavoured with juniper berries; the purest of all spirits
