Consecutive Next to each other e.g. 3, 4, 5
Square Number The result of multiplying a number by itself.
Angle This is made when 2 straight lines meet each other.
Symmetry A mirror image of something or a rotation of something.
Congruent Identical.
Rotation Turning a shape.
Acute An angle smaller than 900
Perpendicular Lines that meet at a right angle
Translation Moving a shape
Isosceles A triangle that has 2 equal sides
Enlargement Changing the size of a shape
Transformation Changing a shape in some way
Reflection Creating a mirror image
Scalene A triangle with no equal sides
Cube Number A number made by multiplying another number by itself 3 times.
Equilateral A triangle with 3 equal sides
Negative A number less than zero
Decimal A number between 2 whole numbers
Integer A whole number
Sequence An ongoing pattern
