Bill of Rights

The 1st amendment freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and freedom of assembly and petition.
The 2nd amendment. right to bear arms.
The 3rd amendment. quartering of soldiers limited.
The 4th amendment. searches and seizures regulated.
The 5th amendment. rights of a person accused of a crime, including the right to be represented by a lawyer.
The 7th amendment. right to a trial by jury.
The 8th amendment. unfair bail, fines, and punishment forbidden.
The 9th amendment. citizens entitled to rights not listed in the constituition.
The 10th amendement. powers not listed reserved to the states or the people.
