Exposition/Introduction The beginning of a plot where the characters, setting and conflict are introduced.
Rising Action The majority of the plot, events that lead to the climax
Conflict The problem in a story that needs to be solved
Climax The point in the plot with the most tension, the conflict is usually solved at this point
Falling Action The story is starting to come to an end
Resolution The conflict is solved, the action of the story is brought to an end.
