Lotion What is an aqueous preparation that contains suspended ingredients; used to treat external skin conditions; work to sooth, protect and moisten the skin, destroying harmful bacteria?
Solution What is a liquid preparation that contains one of more completely dissolved substances? Most drugs administered parenterally (by injection) contain these.
spirit What is a drug combined with an alcoholic solution that is volatile (evaporates easily)?
spray What is a fine stream of medicated vapor, usually used to treat nose and throat conditions?
suspension What is a drug that contains solid insoluble drug particles in a liquid; the preparation of which must be shaken before administration?
