camouflaged A disguise, by means of protected coloring, that helps to blend into our natural surroundings.
cringed Draw back or shrink, as with fear or pain.
droning Making a continuous humming sound, monotonous sound.
fuselage The body of a plane that carries passengers, crew, and cargo.
infractions Actions that violate a rule or law.
kimono A loose outer garment held in place by an obi (sash).
martial law Temporary rule imposed on a civilian population by military authorities.
quivering To tremble; to shake with a quick, slight motion.
saboteurs People, such as enemy agents, who try to hinder a nation's war efforts.
shrapnel The contents of a bomb, mine, or grenade that are intended to maim and kill people; can be nails, sharp mental, glass, lead, etc.
sympathizers People who agree with another cause.
trench Long, and deep dugout areas used for defense as well as living quarters by soldiers along the front lines.
