HA severe, intense, chronic, stabbing, fixed in one place, dark complexion, hypochondrial or ab pain, painful period w/ dark, clotted blood, start & stop of period, common in older people & women T: Purple, purple spot P: irreg, choppy, wiry Blood Stasis (from longstand LV Qi Stagnation)
Dull HA, in bouts, alleviated by rest/lying down, aggravated by exc work, worse in AM, poor appetite SP/ST - loose stools HT - palps LU - SOB T: pale or normal P: thin, empty, short but not quite reaching top position Qi Deficiency
HA affects top of head, dizziness, blurred vision, worse in PM ,poor memory/concentration, worse in women esp. at end of period, T: pale, almost orange on sides P: fine-choppy Blood Deficiency
Dull HA experience IN the brain, dizziness, tinnitus, brain emptiness, worse w/ sex, low back/knee pain T: varies P: varies KD Deficiency
HA felt deep in head, empty heat ssx, more severe, HA may occur after sex T: w/o coat P: floating-empty KD Yin Deficiency
HA, coldness, soreness of lower back & knees, abundant pale urination T: pale P: deep-weak KD Yang Deficiency
