QuestionAnswer
Physical Map Shows landmarks or physical features.
Climate Map Shows climate.
Economic Map Shows economic resources and other sources such as gold that other countries can use.
Political Map Shows cities and capitals.
Population Density Map Shows population and how much or how low people live in.
What is a key? A key is a source you can use on maps that can tell you if this is a city or a capital or not.
What is a scale bar? A scale bar shows you how many miles is it from here to there.
What is the weakness between maps? Distortion
What is location? Shows accurate and exact location. It is only used on maps.
Can you use the two finger trick to correctly find the coordinates in a city? Yes.
Latitude Shows horizontally.
Longitude Shows Vertically.
Can you use the inchworm trick to correctly locate a city,given by it's coordinates? Yes.
How the the GPS work? First, the receiver sends waves to the thirty satellites. Then the government checks the sattlelites if they are okay just in case. Then, the satellites send back signals into the receiver to find their location.
What is a GIS? Geographical Information System.
