grim | causing feelings of sadness or worry : gloomy or depressing |
deny | to say that something is not true |
yanked | to suddenly pull (something) in a quick, forceful way |
hilarious | very funny |
interrupt | to ask questions or say things while another person is speaking : to do or say something that causes someone to stop speaking |
scribbling | to write (something) quickly and in a way that makes it difficult to read |
approval | the belief that something or someone is good or acceptable : a good opinion of someone or something |
bashing | to cause or allow (something, such as part of your body) to hit something very hard or forcefully |
boast | to express too much pride in yourself or in something you have, have done, or are connected to in some way |
sleeve | the part of a shirt, jacket, etc., that covers all or part of your arm |
coils | long thin piece of material (such as a wire, string, or piece of hair) that is wound into circles |
