Anles, lines, triangles

Point a bold dot
Line keeps going without in two opposite directions.
Angle formed by two rays with the same end point
Ray has on end with a point and the other keeps going in one direction.
Plane a flat surface that extends without end in all directions.
Vertex The end point of two lines
Straight angle measures 180°
Right angle measures 90° and has a little box
Supplementary if the sum of theirs measures 180°
Complementary The sum of theirs measures 90°
Vertical angle there pairs are called vertical angles, and they always have the same measure. OPPOSITE PAIRS
Paralled Lines two lines that do not intersect. SAME PLANE
Perpendicular lines two lines that intersect at a right angle.
Corresponding angles angles that occupliy corresponging positions when a line intersects with two other lines
alternate interior angles insider angles
alternate exterior angle outside angles
Quadrilateral a closed figure with four sides that are line segments
Trapezoid quadrilateral with exactly one pair of parallel sides
Parallelogram quadrilateral with both pairs of opposite sides parallel.
Rhombus parallelogram with 4 sides of equal length.
Rectangle parallelogram with 4 right angles
Square parallelogram with 4 sides of equal lenth and 4 right angles.
Acute angle measure is less then 90°
Right angle measure is exactly 90°
obtuse angle measure is greater then 90° and less then 180°
acute triangle has 3 acute angles
Right Triangle has one right angle
Obtuse Triangle has on obtuse angle
Equilateral Triangle has 3 sides of equal lenth
isosceles Triangle has 2 of the same side lengths
Scale Triangle has NO sides of the same length.
