circumcision removal of prepuce or foreskin of penis; performed on newborn male
resection surgical removal
sterilization process of rendering male or female sterile
transurethral resection of prostate (TUR, TURP) removal of prostate gland by inserting device through urethra and removing prostate tissue
vasectomy surgical removal of a segment or all of the vas deferens to prevent sperm from leaving the male body; used for contraception purposes
vasovasostomy surgically reconnect the vas deferens to reverse vasectomy
spermatocide spermaticide Spermicide destruction of sperm; one form of birth control, using spermolytic creams
