antagonistic A state of not liking and being against something.
commission An order granting the power to perform various acts or duties.
democratically Believing in or practicing the idea that peopl are socially equal.
denomination A name especially for a class of things.
dugong An aquatic plant-eating mammal related to the manatees but having a 2- lobed and tusk in the male.
jodhpur Riding breeches loose above the knee and tight-fitting below.
jonquil Mediterranean perennial bulbous herb with long linear leaves that is widely grown for its yellow or white fragrant short tube clustered flowers.
jurisdiction The power right or authority to interpret and apply the law.
kaliedoscope A tube containing bits of colored glass or plastic and two mirrors at one end that shows many different patterns as it is turned.
kaolin A fine white clay used in ceramics.
kink A short tight twist or curl.
lozenge A diamond shaped figure.
macron A mark placed over a vowel to show that the vowel is long.
plebisite A popular vote by which the people indicate their wishes on a measure officially submitted to them.
rendezvous A place or popular resort.
self-pollinate To undergo or cause to undergo self-pollination.
Zimbabwe A country in south central Africa formerly know as Rhodesia.
