Advanced filters, database and summary IFS functions

Advanced filtering Can be used with multiple fields and AND/OR conditions to create complex criteria using functions and formulas
Criteria Range the field names must match exactly the field names in the data table, except for case.
And criteria when used, indicates that ALL conditions must be met in order for the criteria to evaluate as true. Placed on the same criteria line, unlike the OR
Or criteria written on separate lines of the criteria range. Used to indicate that any one of the criteria is meet is acceptable
database functions even though excel is not a full-fledged database program, excel provides these function types to perform summary data analysis (such as sum, average, and count) for all records that match the criteria being used
database in excel, would include the table, and headers, from which the data is being reviewed
criteria range of specifications for what you are looking for
DCountA used to count the nonblank (include text) cells in a field of records in a database that match conditions you specify
DCount used to count numeric entries of cells in a field of records in a database that match conditions you specify
SumIfs adds the cells specified by a given set of conditions or criteria (multiple criteria allowed)
AverageIf finds the arithmetic mean of all fields meeting a single selection criteria
