What is advertising? A form of non-personal promotion in which companies pat yo promote ideas, goods, or services in a variety of media outlets.
What are the 4 p's of marketing? Product, promotion, place, and price.
What is promotion? Decisions about advertising, personal selling, sales promotion, and publicity to attract potential customers.
Name ten places where we see advertising? TV, radio, magazines, newspapers, stores, internet, billboards, theaters, sports arenas, and highway signs.
What are the top ten advertising icons? Campbell's Soup Kids, The M&M guys, Mr. Peanut, Aunt Jemima, Elsie the Cow, Pillsbury Doughboy, Ronald McDonald, Quaker Oat Man, Tony the Tiger and Ernie the Keebler Elf.
What is media? Agencies, means, or instruments used to convey advertising messages to the public.
What is media planning? The process of selecting the advertising media and deciding the or space in which the ads should appear.
What are the two types of advertising? Promotional and Institutional.
Name the 6 different types of print media? Newspapers, magazines, direct mail, directory, outdoor, and transit.
What are the 4 general categories of advertising media? Print, broadcast, online and specialty.
