Narcotics withdrawel ss: dilated pupils, rhinorrhea, restless, shaky, discomfort,hallucinations, coma, yawning, diaphoresis, abd.cramps & lacrimation
Amphetamine withdrawel ss: sucidal thoughts, depression, lathergy, nightmares,anxiety, GI prob.
Amphetamine overdose SS: tension, HA, diarrhea
Depression SS seizures, depression, anxiety
Are hallucinations addictive: NO
Alcohol withdrawel SS tachycardia, disorientation, confusion, agitation, sleep problems
Alcohol detox SS within: usually 1-2 days but may be as early as 6 hours
An early sign of alcohol withdrawel is a: perceptual disorder
Opiate Abuse: constricted pupils, euphoria, agitation & slurred speech
Opiate overdose SS N/V & diarrhea
Opiate withdrawel: flushing, piloeration, N/V, abd. cramps, lacrimation & rhinorrhea
Pitocin Oxytocin (a hormone)
hydrochlorathiazide is a diuretic (potassium wasting)
