laryngoscopy visual examination of the interior of the voice box with an endoscope
leukemia increase in malignant white blood cells in blood and bone marrow
leukocytosis slight increase in the numbers if normal white blood cells as a response to infection
mammogram x-ray of the breast
mammography process of making an x-ray recording of the breast
mammoplasty surgical repair of the breast
mastectomy removal of the breast
meningitis inflammation of the meninges
menorrhagia excessive bleeding from the uterus during the time of menstruation
menorrhea nomral discharge of blood and tissue from the uterine lining during menstruation
myalgia pain in a muscle
myelogram x-ray image of the spinal cord after contrast is injected within the membranes surrounding the spinal cord in th lumbar area of the back
myeloma malignant tumor originating in the bone marrow
myocardial pertaining to the muscle of the heart
myoma tumor of muscle

necrosis death of cells
oophorectomy removal of and ovary or ovaries
otalgia pain in the ear
pelvic pertaining to the bones of the hip area
