Multiple Sclerosis | degenerative disease which produces hardened patches along the brain. Symptoms include weakness & blurred vision |
Meningitis | inflammation of the covering of the brain |
Epilepsy | disease of the nervous system causing seizures |
Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA) | lack of blood supply to the brain-commonly known as "stroke" |
Neuralgia | pain in a nerve |
Aphasia | loss of expression or understanding of speech |
Cerebrospinal | pertaining to the brain & spinal cord (fluid) |
Subdural Hematoma | blood tumor in the brain |
Neurology | The study of the nervous system |
Lumbar Puncture | A needle is inserted into the spinal cord to remove spinal fluid for testing |
