When treating the attacking phase of Yin type seizures, what is the tx principle? Open orifices, restore consciousness, warm the yang, transform phlegm
What is the etiology & pathology of the attacking phase of a Yang-type seizure? Excess heat evil qi, heat phlegm obstructing the orifices causing internal wind
What is the etiology & pathology of the attacking phase of a Yin-type seizure? Excess Cold evil qi, cold-phlegm obstructin orifices leading to internal wind
When treating the attacking phase of Yin type seizures, what are the preferred formulas? Wu Sheng Yin PLUS Er Chen Tang
When treating the remitting phase of epilepsy caused by Wind-Phlegm obstruction, what is the treatment principle? expel phlegm, extinguish wind, open orifices, stabilize epilepsy

When treating the remitting phase of epilepsy caused by Lv Fire with Internal profusion of Phlegm-Fire, what is the treatment principle? clear the Lv, drain fire, transform phlegm, open orifices
When treating the remitting phase of epilepsy caused by Lv Fire with Internal profusion of Phlegm-Fire, what are the preferred formulas? Long Dan Xie Gan Tang PLUS Di Tan Tang; OR/// Dang Gui Long Hui Wan
When treating the remitting phase of epilepsy caused by Vacuity of Sp & St Qi, what is the treatment principle? Strengthen Sp Qi, Transform turbid phlegm
When treating the remitting phase of epilepsy caused by Vacuity of Sp & St Qi, what is the preferred formula? Liu Jun Zi Tang
When treating the remitting phase of epilepsy caused by Vacuity of Lv & Kd Yin, what is the treatment principle? Noursih & tonify the Lv & Kd
