Over generalization | A broad conclusion using all-or-nothing words like every, always, and never |
Bandwagon appeal | Takes advantage of people's desire to be part of a group or to be popular |
Propaganda | Is the attempt to convince an audience to accept ideas without considering other viewpoints |

Stereotype | a simplified and standardized conception or image invested with special meaning and held in common by members of a group |
Name-Calling | the use of abusive names to belittle or humiliate another person in a political campaign, or an argument |
Snob Appeal | the attributes of something that appeal to people who associate those qualities with social or intellectual superiority |
Endorsement | the signature, instructions, etc., placed on the reverse of a commercial document, for the purpose of assigning the interest therein to another |
Commercial Advertisement | its purpose is to persuade consumers to buy a particular product and to make money for the company that sells the product |
