Who is Kung Fu Tzu? The founder of Confucianism
What does this religion focus on? How to be a strong ruler and man.
What are the five classics? Wisdom collected and edited BEFORE Confucious. 1. The book of changes 2. The book of poetry 3. The book of history 4. The spring of Autumn Annals 5. The book of Rites
What are the four books? Teachings of Confucious and Mencius. 1. The Analects 2. The Great Learning 3. The Doctrine of the Mean 4. The Works of Mencius
What are the Analects? The first of the Four Books. They are short, pithy aphorisms like "Do not do others as you wouldn't want done to you."
What is a "superior man" in Confucianism? Being an ideal host, compassionate etc.
What is so special about the "Five Constant Relationships?" There is always one more superior than the other.
Who is Meng Tzu, and what did he believe? He is often known as Mencius. He believed there was a Mystic, and an innate goodness of men.
What did Hsun Tzu believe in? That Human desire leads to conflict.
What is Neo-Confucianism? The Chinese state of the religion. Not really Confucianism, added a lot from Buddhism.
