prime factorization | writing a composite number as the product of its prime factors. |
prime number | is a whole number with exactly two factors 1 and the number itself. |
rational number | is any number written as a quotient of two integers where the denominator is not 0. |
reciprocals | two numbers if their product is 1. |
relatively prime | a fraction is in simplest form |
scientific notation | is a number if the first factor is greater than or equal to 1 and less than 10, and the second factor is a power of 10. |
