Algebra a Mathematical that uses symbols usually along with numbers the stands for numbers that are unknown
Function is a relationship that assigns exactly on output value to one output
Function Rule An Expression that describes the realitionship between each input and output
Function table A table organizing the input, rule and output of a function
numerical expressions A combination of number and operations
power A number that can be expressed using exponets
prime factorization A composite number expressed as a product of a prime number
Prime Number A Whole Number that has exactly to unique factors 1 and the number itself
solution The value of a variable with a value that makes the equation true.
Solve To replace a variable with a value that results in a true sentence
squared A number multiplied by itself
variable A symbol usually a letter used to represent a number
area The Number of square units needed to cover the surface enclosed by a geometric shape.
base In power the number is used as a factor
composite number A number greater than 1 with more than two factors
cubed The product in which a number is a factor three times.
defining the variable Choosing the variable to represent the input when writing a function table
equals sign A symbol of equability =
equation A mathematical sentence that contains an equal sign
evaluate To find a answer to an algebraic expression by replacing variables with numerals
exponent In a power, the number of times the base is used
factor A number that divides into a whole number with a remainder of zero
formula A equation that shows a realitonship among certain quantities
