perpendicular | Two lines that intersect forming right angles |
intersecting | Two lines that cross at a point |
diagonal | A segment that connects two non-adjacent points on a figure. |
angle | The shape formed when two rays intersect. |
acute angle | an angle that measures less than 90 degrees |
obtuse angle | an angle that measures between 91 and 179 degrees. |
straight angle | an angle that measures 180 degrees |
right angle | an angle that measures 90 degrees |
angle bisector | a ray that divides an angle into two equal sides |
complementary angles | two angles together that equal 90 degrees |
supplementary angles | two angles together that equal 180 degrees |
