| Internal Stakeholders | Inside the business eg.employees, owners/shareholders and managers |
| External stakeholders | Outside the business eg. customers, suppliers, local community, government |
| Conflicts between stakeholders | eg. Conflict between managers and workers over pay and conditions can lead to strike action |
| Stakeholders | Anyone who has a stake or share in what the business does |
| Shareholders | anyone who owns a share of a business. |
| Customers | Want high quality products at low prices |
| Suppliers | Who the business buys raw materials and other products from. They want to be paid on time and to have regular orders from the business. |
| Local community | Want jobs and improved local facilities but don't want businesses to pollute the local area. Sometimes they want sponsorship for community activities e.g football teams |
| Government | Receive taxes when the business makes a profit. |
| Employees | Want job security and promotion prospects. |
| Creditors | People or organisations that are owed money buy a business |
