Heat Stroke | A conition caused by sufficient overheating long enough to cause failure of the temperature control center in the medulla. |
Hypothermia | A body temperature lower than 95 degrees. |
Hyperthermia | A ody temperature over 105.8 degrees. |
Frostbite | A cold injury of the distal extremities ( toes, nose, and finers) |
Hyperventilation Syndrome | A condition in which the thyroid process excess amounts of hormones. |
Poisoning | Ingesting a substance that can make you deadly ill. |
Shock | The process of cell death that occurs anytime perfusion is not adequate. |
