ileum | final section of the small intestine,the fuction is absorb vitamin B12 and bile salts and whatever products of digestion were not absorbed by the jejunum. |
villi | come out from the wall of the small intestine and have additional extensions called microvilli, increases the surface area so there are more places for food to be absorbed. |
hard palate | thin horizontal bony plate of the skull, located in the roof of the mouth. It spans the arch formed by the upper teeth. |
