What is the Brachioradials reflex? | Flexion & supination of the forearm |
What is the Triceps reflex? | Extension of the arm |
What is the Patellar reflex? | Extension of the leg |
What is the Achilles reflex? | Platar flexion of the foot |
How is the Bebinski reflex checked? | By stoking the lateral aspect of the sole of the foot with a dull object |
What happens when the patient has a positive reaction during the Babinski reflex test? | The great toe dorsiflexes while the other toes fan out. |
What diagnosis does a postive Babinski reflex indicate? | A possible stoke or brain lesion. |
What are some samples of diagnostic tests? | Skull radiograph, carotid ateriogram, myelogram, EEG, MRI, & CT studies |
