vertex | The point at which two line segments, lines or rays meet to form an angle. |
vertical | Upright; perpendicular to the horizon. |

complement | all the ways that an event can not happen |
coordinates | the numbers of an ordered pair that locate a point on a coordinate graph |
exponent | the number that indicates how many times the base is used as a factor |
