Cube | a 3-D figure with 6 faces that are congruent squares |
Composite Figure | a figure made up of 2 or more 3-D figures |
Unit | A quantity used as a standard form of measurement |
Unit Cube | a cube with a side length of 1 unit |
Face | a flat surface of a 3-D figure |
Edge | the line segment where 2 faces of a 3-D figure meet |
Vertex | the point where 3 or more faces of a 3-D figure meet |
Base | a face upon which a solid figure can "sit" |
Height | a measurement from the base to the top of a figure |
