| Substrate | The vehicle that carries the image |
| CMYK | The colors of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black that form the subtractive color space |
| Rosette | The visual pattern formed by printing screens of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black at 30 degree angles. |
