Adenosine6mg IV rapid bolus given as close to vein as possible followed by 20 mg NS bolus
ASA2 80 mg tablets to be chewed
Atropine - Adult - Asystole or PEA < 601 mg IV push q3 minutes to maximum of 3mg
Atropine - Adult - NSA pulseless1 mg IV push q3 minutes to maximum of 3 mg
Atropine - Adult - 2°, 3° block & bradycardias.5 mg IV q3-5 minutes to maximum of 3 mg
Atropine - Pediatric - 2°, 3° block & bradycardias.02 mg/kg IV or IO - minimum dose .2mg and maximum single dose of .5 mg (1 mg in an adolescent)
Bicarb (Sodium Bicarbonate)1 meq/kg initially, then .5meq/kg q 10 minutes
Calcium Chloride - Adult5 - 10 cc over 3 minutes
Calcium Chloride - Pediatric5 mg/kg over 3 minutes
D50 - Adult50 cc IV second dose if glucometer remains < 4.0 & patient unable to take food or fluid orally
D50 - Pediatric1 cc/kg IV repeat prn x 1 maximum of 50 cc
Diazepam (Valium) - Adult - Seizures5 mg/min IV to maximum of 10mg
Diazepam (Valium) - Adult - Sedation2.5 - 5 mg IV push as required
Diazepam (Valium) - Pediatric (>3 months of age).2 mg/kg IV over 1 minute or .5 mg/kg pr to maximum of 5 mg
Dimenhydrinate (Gravol) IV10-20 mg (1-2cc) over 30 seconds according to size and age
Dimenhydrinate (Gravol) IM25 - 50 mg (according to size & age)
Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) - Adult25 - 50 mg IM or slowly IV (Halve the dose in patients older than 60 years)
Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) - Pediatric1 mg/kg slowly IV up to 25 mg
