Route of Transmission | Method by which the pathogens gets from the reservoir to the new host Ex. Direct contact or air |
Carrier Host | Host that do not show any signs of infection but are still transmittable |
Portal of Entry | The route of which the pathogen enters its new host Ex. inhalation or ingestion |
Susceptible Host | the organism that accepts the pathogen |
