Artisan | a worker in a skilled trade, especially one that involves making things by hand |
Domesticate | tame (an animal) and keep it as a pet or for farm produce |
History | the study of past events, particularly in human affairs |
Hunter-Gatherers | a member of nomadic people who live chiefly by hunting, fishing, and harvesting wild food |
Ice Age | a glacial episode during a past geological period |
Nomad | a member of a people having no permanent abode, and who travel from place to place to find fresh pasture for their livestock |
Prehistory | the period of time before written records |
Systematic Agriculture | the organized growing of food on a regular schedule |
Shrine | a place regarded as holy because of its associations with a divinity or a sacred person or relic, typically marked by a building or other construction |
Artifact | an object made by a human being, typically an item of cultural or historic interest |
Paleolithic | Old - the earliest period of the Stone Age |
Mesolithic | Middle - the transitional period of the Stone Age where they adapted to hunting and gathering |
Neolithic | New - the latest period of the Stone Age when they started farming |
