MATERNAL MORTALITY RATE | Death of a woman while pregnant or within 42 days of termination of pregnancy |
CRUDE BIRTH RATE | The birth rate is the total number of births per 1000 of a population each year. |
CRUDE DEATH RATE | Mortality rate is a measure of the number of deaths (in general, or due to a specific cause) in a population, scaled to the size of that population, per unit of time. |
NATURAL INCREASE RATE | The natural number of people born. |
LESS DEVELOPED COUNTRIES | A poorer area where there are less communications, services and where people have lower living standards. |
