Term | Definition |
Commonfactor | A number,polynomial,or quanity that evenly divides into two or more numbers or algerbraic expressions. |
Degree of a monomial | The sum of the exponets on the variables contained in a term. |
Degree of a polynomial | The largest degree among all its terms. |
Factor(verb) | To express as a product of two or more factors. |
Factor(noun) | A number or expression that is multiplied by another to yield a product. |

Lowest Terms | The form of a fraction in which the numerator and denominator have no common factor except 1. |
Prime Number | A number greater than 1 that has exactly two different factors,1 and itself. |
Quadratic Equation | A polynomial equation of degrees,its general form is ax squared plus bx plus c equals o where x is the variable and a,b,and c are constants |
