Question | Answer |
Opposite | The same distance from 0 on a number line as the original number, but on the other side of 0. |
Integer | The set of whole numbers and their opposites. |
Absolute Value | Is its distance from 0 on a number line. |
Prime Number | Is a whole number greater than 1 that has exactly two factors, 1 and itself. |
Composite Number | A whole number that has more than two factors. |
Prime Factorization | Is a method of breaking down bigger number than 1 so they can multiply with each other to get that number. |
Greatest Common Factor | The largest common factor of two or more given numbers. |
Multiple | A multiple f a number is the product of that number and a nonzero whole number. |
Least Common Factor | The least common factor of two or more numbers is the common multiple with the least value. |
Equivalent Fraction | Different expressions for the same nonzero number. |
Improper Fraction | The numerator is greater than the denominator. |
